1. Coverage
Moorizon provides a three-year limited warranty for products purchased directly from Moorizon, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal indoor use. This warranty applies only to the original buyer and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Start Date & Service Area
The warranty begins on the delivery date shown by the carrier’s delivery scan and applies only to eligible orders delivered within the contiguous U.S. (48 states + Washington, D.C.).
3. Purchases from Authorized Retailers
If you purchased from an authorized retailer (a retailer expressly authorized by Moorizon in writing), please contact the retailer where you placed your order to initiate the warranty request. The retailer will coordinate with Moorizon for evaluation and support as needed. Warranty handling for authorized retailer purchases is subject to the retailer’s process and any applicable retailer policies.
4. What We Will Do (Remedies)
If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, Moorizon may provide one or more of the following remedies, as permitted by law and based on the product and issue:
- Replacement Parts: Shipped at no cost for a confirmed covered defect (parts + standard shipping included; expedited services not included).
- Replacement: Replacement with the same item; if discontinued, a comparable item of similar style and value may be provided, subject to availability.
- Refund: A refund may be offered when parts/repair or replacement is not available, where required by law, and consistent with your purchase channel.
If a replacement is offered and you choose not to accept it, Moorizon may offer a refund where appropriate, consistent with applicable law and your purchase channel.
Where a return is required, we will provide instructions; shipping responsibility will be confirmed in writing based on the issue and remedy.
5. Professional Installation Requirement (Lighting / Hardwired Items)
For products that require professional installation (including hardwired lighting and other items where applicable), warranty coverage requires proof of compliant professional installation, such as a paid invoice from a licensed electrician/contractor where required by local law, for safety and code compliance. Claims may be declined if the issue is caused by improper installation or if required installation documentation is not provided.
6. Component Coverage: Bulbs / Drivers / Transformers
- Replaceable Bulbs: Covered for 180 days from the carrier’s delivery scan date (defects only).
- LED Drivers / Transformers: Covered for the full three-year limited warranty period.
7. Shipping Damage & Missing Parts (Consistency with Other Policies)
Please inspect your order upon delivery and keep the original packaging until you are satisfied.
- Shipping damage: Report within 30 days of the delivery scan date, with clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
- Missing parts: Report within 30 days of the delivery scan date; confirmed cases are typically handled via replacement parts at no charge.
Minor, repairable shipping issues may be handled through replacement parts. Major, non-repairable shipping damage may be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
8. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, abuse, accidents, improper installation, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural material characteristics and variations (including color, grain, veining, texture, and hand-finishing), which are not defects
- Outdoor use or exposure to abnormal environmental conditions (excess moisture, heat sources, salt air, prolonged direct sunlight, etc.)
- Cosmetic issues that do not affect intended function or safety (for example, minor surface marks or finish variation)
- Service visits, labor, or installation costs (unless required by law or stated in writing)
Handcrafted characteristics (e.g., minor bubbles in hand-blown glass or hand-finished texture variations) are natural variations and not manufacturing defects.
9. Parts Shipping & Fees
Replacement parts for confirmed covered defects or approved shipping damage are provided at no charge where applicable. If damage is determined to be customer-caused or outside warranty coverage, parts and shipping may be offered at the customer’s expense.
10. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, please contact us and provide:
- Order number and proof of purchase
- Delivery date (carrier delivery scan)
- Photos/video of the issue
- Installation invoice (if professional installation is required)
- Any additional information reasonably needed to evaluate the claim
- Moorizon may request troubleshooting steps, additional documentation, or inspection to confirm eligibility.
After we receive complete documentation, we typically respond with an update within 3–5 business days.
11. Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, incidental or consequential damages are excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
