Shipping & Delivery Policy

1) Shipping Coverage & Free Standard Delivery

Β  Β  Β  Moorizon offers free standard delivery on all items shipped within the contiguous United States (48 states).

Β  Β  Β  We ship using:

  • Standard parcel shipping (UPS, USPS, FedEx, or similar carriers) for smaller items.
  • Standard curbside freight delivery (LTL) for large or heavy items, where applicable.

Β  Β  Β  Important: We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

2) Shipping Origin & Fulfillment
Β  Β  Β  To ensure transparency and reliable service, all orders are processed and shipped from our regional logistics partner’s facility in Southern California:

3) Restricted / Secure Locations

Β  Β  Β  For safety and carrier restrictions, we do not deliver to U.S. government facilities, military installations, or other restricted/secure locations.

Β  Β  Β  If a carrier determines an address is restricted or undeliverable, we may cancel the order and issue a refund in accordance with our policies.

4) Delivery Upgrades, White-Glove Service & Non-Refundable Fees

Β  Β  Β  Standard delivery is free as described above.

Β  Β  Β  Optional delivery upgrades and certain carrier accessorial charges may apply (and will be shown at checkout or confirmed in writing before shipment for freight deliveries).

Β  Β  Β  If you need white-glove/in-home service, expedited shipping, or any special delivery requirement, please contact us before placing your order to confirm availability, timing, and pricing.Β Requests made after an order is placed may not be available. Β  Β Β 

Β  Β  Β  All paid delivery upgrades and carrier accessorial charges are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Expedited shipping
  • Oversized/non-standard LTL handling
  • White-glove / in-home services
  • Remote/extended service area surcharges
  • Appointment windows
  • Lift-gate service
  • Re-delivery
  • Storage
  • and similar carrier fees, to the extent these services were purchased or incurred.

5) Processing Time & Shipping Confirmation

Β  Β  Β  Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays), unless otherwise stated on the product page (e.g., pre-order or made-to-order items).

Β  Β  Β  Once shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information (where available). Items may ship in multiple packages and/or on different dates.

Β  Β  Β  Orders placed after 2:00 PM (PST / PDT) or on weekends/holidays will be processed the next business day.

6) Estimated Transit Times (Contiguous U.S.)

Β  Β  Β  Please Note:Β Transit times are estimates and may vary due to carrier capacity, weather, local conditions, and the distance between the delivery address and our shipping/fulfillment warehouse.

  • Standard Parcel Delivery: typically 5–10 business days (Mon–Fri, estimate only)
  • Expedited Options (Paid): typically 3–6 business days where available (eligibility varies by item/address; not guaranteed)

7) Freight (LTL) Delivery for Large Items

Β  Β  Β  Large items (such as sofas, cabinets, and other oversized furniture) may ship via LTL freight with curbside delivery as the standard service. Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible for freight delivery.

Β  Β  Β  If available, White-Glove In-Home Delivery (Paid) may include room-of-choice delivery, unpacking, basic assembly, and packaging removal.
Β  Β  Β  We do not install lighting, wall-mounted items, mirrors, or any electrical equipment. Customers must arrange a licensed professional as required by local law.

Β  Β  Β  Building requirements such as a Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be communicated in advance. Any COI-related charges imposed by the building or carrier are the customer’s responsibility.

8) Inspection at Delivery & Damage / Shortage Claims (Matches Return Policy) shipments into two types:

Β  Β  Β  Please inspect your order upon delivery.

  • Visible freight damage: note it on the carrier paperwork/BOL at delivery whenever possible.
  • Shipping damage or missing items: must be reported within 10 business days of delivery with clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
  • Manufacturing defects: must be reported within 30 days of delivery.

Β  Β  Β  Claims reported after these timeframes may not be eligible.

Β  Β  Β  For approved defect or shipping-damage claims, Moorizon will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement parts, repair, exchange, or return/refund, consistent with our Return & Exchange & Refund Policy.

9) Lost or Missing Shipments (β€œDelivered” Scans & Theft)Β 

Β  Β  Β  We categorize missing

  • Lost in Transit: If a carrier confirms a shipment is lost before it reaches its destination (no "Delivered" scan), we will provide a full replacement or a full refund.
  • Delivered but Missing: Once a shipment is marked "Delivered" by the carrier, loss or theft at the destination (e.g., porch theft) is the customer's responsibility. However, we are committed to helping you, we will assist in communicating with the carrier and opening a formal investigation to resolve the issue.

Β  Β  Β  Where available, customers may request signature-required delivery or additional carrier services (fees may apply).

10) Address Issues, Refusals, Missed Appointments & Returns-to-Sender

Β  Β  Β  Customers are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable shipping address at checkout.

  • Before shipment: Address corrections or changes may be accepted upon request.
  • After shipment: Address changes are not permitted, because carrier re-routing may cause loss, delays, or additional fees.

Β  Β  Β  If an incorrect or incomplete address results in re-delivery, return-to-sender, refused delivery, missed appointment, access issues, storage, or other carrier fees, these costs may be charged to the customer or deducted from any eligible refund, consistent with our Return & Exchange & Refund Policy.

11) Order Delays & Cancellation Requests

Β  Β  Β  Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Moorizon is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, labor actions, or events beyond our control.

Β  Β  Β  If delivery is delayed by more than 30 business days beyond the estimated window, you may request order cancellation and a refund unless the order is made-to-order, personalized, final sale, or otherwise non-cancellable as disclosed at purchase.

12) Storage Policy (Freight / Special Handling)

Β  Β  Β  Free storage is available for up to 30 days. With full payment received, storage may be extended to a total of 90 days. After 90 days, a storage fee of $60 per pallet per month may apply (based on size/volume).

Β  Β  Β  Orders not claimed or scheduled for delivery within 150 days may be considered abandoned and we will refund the customer based on our Return & Exchange & Refund Policy.
